Ours walking tours

Walking tours are available in Aix en Provence, Arles and Avignon (around 2 or 3 hours depending on the city and the group wishes). Your guide will show you the most interesting and typical attracts of each city. It is usually an easy walk, if you have any doubt don’t hesitate to ask your question via the Contact tab.

Aix en provence

A walking tour is the best way to discover Aix en Provence: its architecture, foutains, statues, cobblestoned squares with their outdoor market, churches and all the private mansions from the 17th and 18th century on the famous main street le Cour Mirabeau … A lots of other places will be also shown to you… While some nice histories about the famous painter Cezanne who was born there will keep you entertained during the walking tour. You even might be able to enjoy one of the nicest markets in the area if the tour happens to be on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.

Avignon

Where you will be able to discover the famous Pope’s Palace and its beautiful architecture and history, inhabited by the Popes for a century, classified Unesco World heritage site. We will then walk through the historical center stopping by some nice gardens, viewpoints, lovely hidden cobblestoned squares which are the nest of some restaurants and cafés with their tables scattered around cute fountains.

Arles

Have a walk through the amazing ARLES, classified UNESCO World Heritage City where you will be able to see some important monuments like:

  • The Roman Amphitheater (1 Century AD)

  • The Roman Antic Theatre (1 Century BC)

  • The Saint Trophime Church and lots of other beautiful monuments…

  • And walk by some other famous places where Van Gogh stayed or loved to paint and see the reproductions of his paintings.
